A CHEAP RIDETM has been in business since 2006, and although we no longer offer local taxi service, we still offer low, flat-rate fares on pre-scheduled transportation to Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, and other cities from our base area in the suburbs north of Austin. We are not a shared-ride shuttle service. We do not pick up other customers along the way, and we do not offer group transportation, but we do offer affordable, flat-rate fares on private car service to many destinations in Texas. Do you need to get from Round Rock to the Houston airport? Or maybe from Georgetown to Beaumont? No need to worry whether Uber or Lyft will cancel on you last minute...we can do it and we'll show up on time! Please keep in mind that we often get booked well in advance for early mornings, so we are limited on availability for airport transportation, especially if you have an early departure. We can provide one-way transportation TO the Austin airport or round-trip service from our base area in Round Rock, or areas such as Hutto, Jonah, Taylor, Georgetown, Florence, Jarrell, Weir, Granger, Salado, Belton, Temple and other rural communities in Central Texas. Once your trip is reserved, we pick you up on your schedule in Round Rock or other areas north of Austin and transport you to your destination. We do not stop to pick up other passengers along the way like shared-ride shuttle services. You are the only customer on your trip. What We Do

 

We started as a local taxi service in Round Rock in 2006, but we began to receive more and more requests for long-distance trips to the Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio airports because it is often cheaper and much easier to travel internationally from these hub airports. Since we offer simple, low, flat-rate fares, customers found our rates to be a much better value than the meter-based taxi services. We no longer offer local taxi service, but we offer airport and long-distance private transportation to other cities in Texas from our base area in Round Rock, or from Georgetown, Hutto, Taylor, Jarrell, other areas. If you need to visit grandkids in another city, we still have great flat-rate fares to many destinations in Texas such as Fredricksburg, Kerrville, San Angelo, Lubbock, Llano, San Saba, Waco, Tyler, Longview, Texarkana, Beaumont, Victoria, Corpus Christi, Brownsville, Laredo, El Paso, Amarillo, or anywhere else in Texas you need to go. We have safely driven over 2 million miles all over the great state of Texas.
