A CHEAP RIDETM has been in business since 2006, and although we no longer offer local taxi service, we still offer low, flat-rate fares on pre-scheduled transportation to San Antonio, Dallas, Houston, and other cities from our base area in the suburbs north of Austin. We are not a shared-ride shuttle service. We offer private car service to many destinations in Texas from areas such as Round Rock, Georgetown, Weir, Taylor, Granger, Rockdale, Florence, Jarrell, Salado, Belton and Temple. A CHEAP RIDETM  offers flat-rate fares that are cheaper in many cases than Uber or Lyft. All we ask is that you pre-schedule your trip (several days notice preferred) and we will show up on time as requested. You and your family, or friends, are our only customers, so we will be there when YOU want us to be there. There is no need to become a member, or download an app, or sign up using a smart phone, just to get a clean, comfortable, safe and affordable ride to your destination. We have provided friendly, dependable service to thousands of satisfied customers for over 16 years now. We have completed thousands of safe trips all over Texas, and we simply offer better service at affordable rates. Please keep in mind that we often get booked in advance for early morning airport transportation, so our availability is limited for early morning pickup requests to the Austin airport. We don't recommend other services because we always get blamed when they don't show up, but we will be more than happy to help in providing you names and phone numbers to other services in your area if we are not available.

Please keep in mind that we pick up passengers from all over the world, and it is important for us to know if there is a risk of exposure. If you have not been vaccinated, or do not wish to tell us whether or not you have been vaccinated, we ask that you please wear a mask for the duration of your trip. If you prefer that our driver wears a mask for your comfort, please let us know and we will be glad to accommodate your request. We are also asking all customers to please inform us immediately if you have experienced any symptoms of the virus, or if you have been in contact with others that have displayed symptoms or if you have tested positive for the virus. ** Please Note: Due to ground transportation regulations, we do not provide local taxi service within the City of Austin, nor do we provide transportation to the Austin airport from addresses within the City of Austin (787 zip codes). We also do not provide one-way transportation FROM the Austin airport or service that originates at the Austin airport if we did not take you to the airport previously. We can provide one-way transportation TO the Austin airport or round-trip service from our base area in Round Rock, or areas such as Hutto, Georgetown, Weir, Walburg, Granger, Jarrell, Salado, Florence, Belton, Temple and other rural communities in Central Texas. WE OFFER PRIVATE TRANSPORTATION TO DESTINATIONS ACROSS TEXAS FROM OUR BASE AREA 

Once your trip is reserved, we pick you up on your schedule in Round Rock or other areas north of Austin and transport you to your destination. We do not stop to pick up other passengers along the way like shared-ride shuttle services. You are the only customer on your trip. What We Do

 

We started as a local taxi service in Round Rock in 2006, but we began to receive more and more requests for long-distance trips to the Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio airports because it is often cheaper and much easier to travel internationally from these hub airports. Since we offer simple, low, flat-rate fares, customers found our rates to be a much better value than the meter-based taxi services. We no longer offer local taxi service, but we offer airport and long-distance private transportation to other cities in Texas from our base area in Round Rock, or from Georgetown, Hutto, Taylor, Jarrell, other areas.
